Dunham Massey

We visited Dunham Massey at the beginning of September just before school resumed. It is a sumptuous Edwardian manor with extensive gardens and it's in our neighbourhood, close to Manchester airport.

Cholmondeley Castle Gardens

Also located near us is Cholmondeley Castle Gardens in Malpas, home to Lady Cholmondeley, and a beautiful setting for a Sunday afternoon walk, weather permitting. See for the photo below for a dramatic backdrop to the castle.
