Nuance Communications Inc.

For this leading provider of speech and imaging solutions, revised a configuration and administration guide for a Call Steering product, incorporating significant new content and improving the overall readability of the guide. Also updated a set of six manuals for a service pack release of their voice-activated directory assistance product, and developed new content for a set of manuals devoted to the Nuance Voice Control mobile product.

Paraxip Technologies Inc.

For this software developer that provides IP telephony connectivity solutions, wrote, edited, designed and formatted two manuals for their NetBorder suite of software modules: a VoIP Gateway user guide and a Call Progress Analysis user guide.

OZ Communications (Nokia)

For this leading provider of instant communication solutions to wireless network operators, updated internal and external guides, including installation manuals, end-user guides, and online help. Developed various end-user guides.

In an earlier contract, developed an end-user and a customer care guide, both destined for international audiences. Updated the technical documentation team's internal web pages and customized the team's WebWorks Publisher template.

Loki Innovations

For the past three releases of RIVA Online, an asset management internet application, updated two online help systems as well as accompanying user guides. Provided quality assurance feedback. Updated and edited a user's guide for Danic Tools, a case management software package designed for health and human service agencies.

Wrote, edited and desktop published a reference manual and design specifications for a Pricing and Invoicing System.

Roadware Corporation

Updated a user manual describing how to operate the Automated Road Analyzer (ARAN).

Curriculum Development

RBC Financial Group

For Royal Bank's Visa Call Centres, assisted in the development of three components of the Card Services Development Program: initial orientation and product knowledge for new hires; ongoing training simulations and intensive coaching for Customer Care Associates (CCAs); and a follow-up training/coaching curriculum for CCAs requiring advanced learning.

Website Design/IT Training

ASR Coaching & Training

Developed web content for ASR Coaching & Training based in Montreal, Quebec. Provided writing, editing, proofreading and consulting services related to the development of the organization's web presence.

Williamsville-Getzville Chapter of the International MOMS Club

Designed and maintain a webpage for a New York chapter of the International MOMS Club. Used colour and childlike fonts and images to convey a fun, lighthearted theme.

Highfields Community Primary School

Designed a website for a primary school located in Cheshire, England. Led the Year 5/6 students in its content development and maintenance as part of their ICT training. Supplied the school with a tailored, hands-on training program to provide them with the skills necessary to take over maintenance of the site.

Jeanne's Online (X)HTML Web Design Course

Developed and led an online HTML and XHTML Web Design course, in which students learned the basic structure of HTML and XHTML documents, good markup techniques, and the importance of validation. Participants were required to create a standards-compliant website with fully functioning CSS, JavaScript and HTML forms.

Other IT Training Programs

Developed and led an adults-only computer literacy course for basic to intermediate users, designed to extend their knowledge of the Internet, the Windows Operating System, and popular Microsoft Office products such as Internet Explorer, Outlook Express and Word.
